• July 24, 2021: The Houston Hoops finished the EYBL Nationals/Nike Peach Jam in North Augusta,SC with an overall 5-7 record. At the Peach Jam, they lost to Team CP3 (67-75), Team Final (62-64), Expressions (55-64) and NJ Scholars (70-71) and defeated NH Lighting (60-58). Scoresheets available on www.nikeeyb.com.
• July 18, 2021: The Houston Hoops EYBL team went 4-3 at the Nike Finals to qualify for the Peach Jam (July 20-25) in N Augusta, South Carolina. Summary:

• July 10, 2021: The 17U Houston Hoops went 4-0 at the GASO in Duncanville this weekend. They defeated Team Griffin EYBL (60-43), Colorado Miners 17 Gold (86-32), Max Elite 17 (84-67), and ASAK 17U (65-48). On to the Peach Jam!

• June 14, 2021: The team went 2-1 at the Lee Sloan Invitational this weekend. They defeated Scholar Athletes (65-35) and Dallas Seawolves (57-52) before losing to Cooz Elite (43-44).
• May 31, 2021: The team went 3-1 at the GASO Memorial Day tournament in Carrollton this weekend. They defeated Urban DFW 74-66, 3D Empire 71-69, and ASAK 71-62, and lost to THP Blue 62-67.
• May 24, 2021: The Houston Hoops went 2-2 at The Circuit League in Dallas this weekend. They lost to Middlesex Magic (MA) 70-74, defeated Drive Nation 78-70, lost to Southeast Elite (FL) 60-74, and finished with a win against New Heights Lightning (NY) 68-60. Season record is now 14-2.
• May 9, 2021: The Houston Hoops went 4-0 at the KC Classic in Kansas City this weekend. The defeated KC Spurs Black (67-57), SSA Elite Black (68-49), K-Low Elite (66-50), and Team Takeover (66-56). This brings their season record to 12-0!
• May 2, 2021: The Houston Hoops went 4-0 at the MI3 Spring Showcase this weekend. They defeated Southern Assault Takeover Elite 81-69 (video), Team CP3 91-81 (video 1 / video 2), Team Buddy Buckets 91-78, and Rhode Island Elite 84-70.
• March 28, 2021: The Houston Hoops went 2-0 in Showcase games at the Battle of the Brands this weekend.
• March 22, 2021: The Houston Hoops went 2-0 in Showcase games at this weekend's Spring Ice Breaker (results)

TOBI OYEDEJI

• In May of 2010, the Houston Hoops family lost a friend and teammate - Tobi Oyedeji. Tobi played with the Houston Hoops during the 2008 and 2009 seasons, and was looking forward to starting his college playing career with Texas A&M in the Fall of 2010.  Tobi was a loyal teammate with a beautiful smile and a wonderful personality.  He was always a joy to be around.  He will be missed and his spirit will always remain in our hearts.  Click here for a Houston Hoops tribute to Tobi.
