- Feb 28, 2010: The 13U team earned a D1 qualifying bid this weekend by winning the championship of the AAU Super Regionals in Dallas this weekend.
- Feb 21, 2010: The 13U team completed in both the 13U & 14U divisions of the Hoops Classic this weekend and made it to the championship game in each division, playing many back-to-back games. They won the 13U championship in a game against a very good Buc Select team, and took 2nd place in the 14U division.
- Feb 14, 2010: Congratulations to Jordan Hunter on winning the NBA FIT Dribble, Dish & Swish Championship that was held during the NBA All Star Slam Dunk Contest last night! Jordan had the fastest time overall, and will be a ball boy for one of the NBA All Star teams during tonight's game.
- Jan.24, 2009: Galen "G" Robinson & Laurynce Andrus led Pershing Middle School to an undefeated district championship.
- Jan 17, 2010: The Houston Hoops won their pool at the Hype Sports Winter Jam in Carrollton with wins over the Texas Lightning (59-53) and Texas Jaguars (53-47). They won their first bracket game against Texas Select (52-30) and were then eliminated by the AAA Stallions (47-52).
- Jan 14, 2010: Jordan Hunter has been chosen to represent the Houston Rockets in the NBA FIT Dribble, Dish, & Swish national competition held at the NBA All Star Game Weekend in 2010 in Dallas. Jordan won his age division at the local and regional competitions. Jordan will be recognized on center court right before the Slam Dunk competition. He was also recently recognized at the Rockets vs. Knicks game for winning the regional competition.
- Jan. 12, 2010: Houston Hoops player Nicholas Garth of Cy-Fair ISD's Watkins Middle School (7th Grade) broke the school record by scoring 45 points against Dean Middle School on Thursday Jan. 7, 2010.
- Jan. 10, 2010: The Houston Hoops took 1st place at the RYTES Warriors Classic this weekend.
- Dec. 20, 2009: The Houston Hoops took 1st place in the 13U division of the Holiday Classic this weekend.
- Nov. 20, 2009: Galen "G" Robinson led Pershing Middle School to winning the Kinkaid Annual Basketball Tournament.He was also named MVP.
- April 26, 2009: The Houston Hoops took 2nd place at the Next Level Baller tournament in Dallas this weekend.
- April 19, 2009: The Houston Hoops took 2nd place at the H-Town Classic this weekend.
- March 29, 2009: Congratulations to the Houston Hoops on winning the NLB/ARC Ultimate Nationals in Dallas this weekend!
- March 23, 2009: The Houston Hoops took first place at the AAU Super Regionals in Lafayette, Louisiana this weekend, qualifying them for the AAU Nationals!
